Welcome to the story submission section of the Act Against AIDS Web site. Thank you for helping bring to life the realities of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the United States.

Specific Guidelines:

• Make sure your story has something to do with HIV or AIDS.
• Write the story from your point of view (first person).
• The best stories are from 400 to 750 words.
• Sign your stories with your first name and age only.
• We will review all stories prior to posting. We may need to edit them.
• We may not use every story, but we thank you for participating.
• We cannot answer questions or respond to requests for follow-up. If you have questions about HIV/AIDS, please call 1-800-CDC-INFO.

Because of the volume of submissions, not all stories will be immediately available or available indefinitely. By providing this information, you give your permission to associate your first name and age with your submission. Please email your stories to AAAStories@cdc.gov.
