3 Things You Can Do to Act Against AIDS

3 things you can do to act against AIDS: Get the Facts. Get Tested. Get Involved.

1. Get the Facts and Share the Facts.

HIV is a concern for all of us. What can you do about it? Break the silence— talk about HIV!
Here's how to do it:

  1. HIV Basics, including information on HIV Prevention. Click on these links to educate yourself on the basics about HIV/AIDS, including information on how to protect yourself and others.
  2. Talk about what you learn  with your friends and other people that are important to you.
  3. Empower even more people via social media.  Share the HIV Basics page and your new knowledge with your Facebook and Twitter friends, too.

Once you know more about HIV/AIDS, you're in the best position to educate your friends and family.  Your voice can motivate and move them to action to protect themselves and others!

Whether it's a conversation, text message, Facebook status update or a tweet—we must talk to each other about HIV and how we can prevent it. In fact you can do it right now.

Share this page with your friends!

2. Get Tested

According to the CDC, 1 in 5 people living with HIV don't know that they have it. Knowing your HIV status is an important step in preventing the spread of HIV. Talk with your friends and family about getting tested and protecting themselves.
